That's what I meant, so something like 29.6mm is going to limit my options even more.

If I were using a shim (and alloy post), should it be seat tube > anti-seize > shim > carbon grip > seatpost, or should a double anti-seize work?

What's the frame? Photo please. Is it worth the hassle?
