Thanks for the bike el_presidente.
Sadly I just found out that my landlord decided to sell the house I been leaving for the last year. Looking at the house rental market in London it seems clear that I will have to downsize my bike collection.
Before I get attached to yet another bike like to put this back on the market. As a persuasive negotiator I managed a bargain price of £175 for the bike. If anyone is interested, I am happy to sell at the cost price.

What happened to the forks?

el_presidente claims that he sold it as they had a very close clearance not allowing usage of tyres of 23mm

Such a shame :(

I was using it as a daily commuter and frankly the ride was hugely improved by a) carbon taking away some road buzz and b) not having to run 20c tyres at 150psi

GONE to Hobo. What a lucky mam!
This bike has served me well over the last 8 or so years originally in fixed-wheel form then geared as you see her now.
I am selling as there are now too many bikes in the garage and I need to free up some space for the next project.
This is by no means perfect but is in very usable condition (have done several 50 mile plus rides this year), or alternatively you could restore and rebuild to your own spec.
Details are as follows:
FRAME: Graham Weigh 531. Bought new from Weigh by a mate of mine in the early 90s; originally in blue, I had her stripped and powder coated white by Armourtex in approx 2009. Used heavily since then including many miles commuting the finish is looking rough; of most concern are some small areas of surface rust around the BB (pictured) but this is in no way structural. Seat tube is 59cm c-c 60cm c-t; top tube is 57cm c-c. I am 6ft 1.
FORK: Dedaccai black rain carbon/alu 1" steerer
HEADSET: Cane Creek S2 1" aheadset. Smooth running
GROUPSET: Campagnolo Mirage 8-speed. In very nice nick. 8 speed runs like clockwork and never needs adjusting. With the exception of:
CRANK: FSA Gossamer 50/36 175mm
WHEELS: Mavic Open Pro on Campag hubs. Front is true, bearings a tiny bit notchy but very serviceable. Rear has a dent in the rim which was there when I bought them - can't be seen with the tyre on so I haven't got a picture. No impact on function. It also has one black spoke which was all the LBS had when I needed to replace one at short notice.
TYRES: Vittoria Rubino Pro, done plenty of miles but still serviceable
SEATPOST: Exotic Cycles carbon. A very tight fit, but I took it out and regreased it today.
SADDLE: Specialized Avatar 143. Scuffed and cracked but perfectly operational.
STEM: Planet X 120mm (w/ 1" shim)
BARS: Cinelli Vai 44cm. The levers are somewhat misaligned and the tape's seen better days.
No Pedals included - can offer the following to get you home: 105 SPD-SLs £25 / Bog standard MD-520 SPDs £10 / cheapo flats £10
Overall I am looking for
£250£240£230 or a very close offer. Bike is in High Wycombe but I can meet anywhere in Z1.NDS:
Small amount of surface rust:
What it used to look like in fixed wheel configuration before paint job. The forks in this pic are long gone unfortunately.
