Embankment wall, roots, mud, dark. Not a nice combination the first time you do it, especially with the younger kids discussing their friend who crashed into it. After a few goes it becomes less scary, but that drop off first time is horrible.

Seconded about the tyres. I dropped pressure a couple of times last night and it improved grip each time. How's your tubeless experiment, Andy? I want to build up a wheelset, but there's so much conflicting advice that I'm sticking with clinchers for the time being. Tubs can GTFO. Ain't nobody got time for that.
