Just got reminded about the utter bellwipe that I encountered the other evening at the Bethnal Green Road/Roman Road junction.
I'd stopped behind a bus indicating to turn left and a tipper truck in the next lane as there was no safe way to pass and I'd judged that the lights were going to change soon anyway. There was no need to even attempt filtering through the traffic. The belm in question decided to push past me on his wide riser bar MTB and got wedged between tonnes of death. He hit is bars on the tipper truck and began to fall towards the bus on the left as the lights changed and I thought he was going to get sucked under. He planted a foot on the ground and stayed stationary whilst all the traffic passed him.
As I cycled past I said, "That's why I waited back there" he told me to fuck off...
