Virenque has been finding Tour employment for years with French TV. The British love to pay homage to Tom Simpson.
Terribly disappointing day, though at least Contador lost time. Still, it's a long way to go and there's a long time trial at the end. I hope Kwiatkovski, Porte and Talanksy are on form in the mountains. Especially keen to see what Porte can do now, being their Plan B and all.
