  • Horatio, we're the cutting edge, just waiting for the press to get their teeth into the story, and am now upset the Michelle Cound has quit twitter as we'll no longer be able to get the inside skinny from Camp Froome.

  • Sagan my man now. Not to win but for tour funz.

  • ^^ Quite. Wiggo out, Cav out, Froome out, Millar out.

Are there actually any Brits left?!

    Simon Yates.

  • Go Yates!

  • Should have brung Wiggo. Sky_Dickheads

  • Geraint Thomas is also British (even if he is a Welsh).

  • I feel very sorry for Froome, hard hard way to leave the TdF for anyone, let alone the defending champion.

If you're injured you're injured i guess, it looked to be his wrist/shoulder that was giving him grief so maybe he shouldn't have been riding today.

Was sad the sparse applause from the drenched spectators as he climbed in the team car : /

  • At least Froome looked human for a bit. For a second my cold, dead heart broke for him.

He probably reminded himself he's human as everything ached simultaneously, if not worse, from falling on all bits of his body in quick succession. Just not his year.

  • someone send him a lufguss jersey to cheer him up.

  • Should have brung Wiggo. Sky_Dickheads

Yeah, cos look how well he coped with wet conditions in a GT.

  • Geraint Thomas is also British (even if he is a Welsh).

How could I forget about this hard-nut?
    Hope he wins today.

  • Sagan my man now. Not to win but for tour funz.

I want him to win the stage and the yellow jersey by wheelie-ing over the finish line backwards.

  • From Twitter

    Oilysailor:
Wiggins at the 2013 Giro, Froome at the 2014 tour. Sky can't cope with marginal rains

  • look how fucking horrible it is though man

    fuck that

  • Sagan my man now. Not to win but for tour funz.

Could well be in yellow tonight

  • Do the lighter riders tend to go down easier in slippery conditions compared to their larger counterparts?

  • Horatio, we're the cutting edge, just waiting for the press to get their teeth into the story, and am now upset the Michelle Cound has quit twitter as we'll no longer be able to get the inside skinny from Camp Froome.

    Ah - getchya.

  • Yeah, cos look how well he coped with wet conditions in a GT.

True but look how good he was at P-R.

  • bigger=higher center of gravity and higher tyre pressure, so not really.^^

  • Lies!

  • One assumes that the crash yesterday was worse than Sky let on, and Froome was in a lot of pain before the race even began.

  • Do the lighter riders tend to go down easier in slippery conditions compared to their larger counterparts?

In general yes. Less weight on tyres
