Of course it "copes alright", but it does get faster to the camera's limit / overexposure, thus 100 ISO being a good idea if your shutter can only do 1/250s max?
Yeah, run 100iso if you want but I read lots of "oh that camera can't cope with the sun" and "the Hexar is useless in summer" and such and the fact is it's not, it copes very well with bright light and fast(ish) film.
Even when I get the + indicator telling me it's going to be over exposed and I shoot anyway, 9 times out of 10 I get a very useable image.
