Spotted In Norwich

Guy on black fixed with bull horns and red bar ends on Thorpe Road about 6.30 today. Heading into the city.

^^Poppaklump, were you supposed to be coming out on the Dandy Social Ride last Sunday? I was speaking to Matt and he mentioned a younger guy who was planning on coming, and hoping to get in to cycling a bit more?

Nice chat with a chap on a beautifully restored fillet brazed 1950s Claud Bulter track bike on my commute yesterday.

Then the polar opposite, but equally rad, a raw conversion, brakeless, porteur/sit-up-and-beg bars, black rims, locked outide the Arts Centre yesterday evening.

No it was very metallic royal blue, with red decals. Silver bits, trad drops, made to look very 'vintage'. Really nice, if you're into that sort of thing.

Loads of bikes spotted at lunch today, including a rather nice Surly locked outside Primark, with brown swept back bars, open pros etc. Nothing being ridden though.

By the way, Mash Tun is definitely the location for the next Norwich Beers!

spotted some guy flying through traffic on the ring road near the cemetery monday around 4-5pm, blue fixed, drops with hood brakes, anyone on here?

Old dude on a horrible white-spoked Trek filtering up the wrong side of a queue of four buses and then RLJ-ing into oncoming traffic round Castle Meadow a few mins ago. Zero fucks given, but should know better. Maybe he thought his wheels were so loud they meant he needn't adibe by traffic laws.

Drove past a guy on Chapelfield Rd the other day. Blue frame, risers, both arms tattooed to the max.

He didn't die or cause an accident did he? then he knew well enough, i'd say.

Didn't cause an accident per se, but did cause a car to slam on their brakes to save from clearing him right into the Bell beer garden. Having recently witnessed on old guy be absolutely smashed by a car blindsiding him at 30mph on a mini roundabout I stand by the fact that riding like that is fucking stupid.
