  • Entertaining does not equal successful, Mike. Argentina are very efficient.

  • True, look at Chelsea.
Hopefully the Netherlands will be too much of an attacking force for them

  • Have you won anything yet, Mike?

  • Reactive vs Reactive = Messi with the winning goal.

Germany vs Argentina final and we all know that the Argentineans will win that one.

  • Kit sales, sponsorship etc?

  • Paper columns. Surely.

  • Money spent

I wouldn't even bother to watch it if this happened :(

  • I really can't be arsed with the Brazilian team this year. They've been in terminal decline since '94 but this time they really take the piss.

  • Watching a Michael Schumacher documentary from his last 10 months would be more entertaining than watching them.

  • I'd have no issue with a German/Argie final.

Argentina to win because it's one of the few trophies that eludes Messi and Germany to win because they've made no fuss (as usual) and their football has been painfully efficient.

They're not good enough to win.

    Harsh but true.

  • Unsurprisingly I'd like the Netherlands to win it. Nit like it's going to happen but still. If it's against the Germans than all the better for it.

  • Ca$hley to Roma?

Where's Corndog giving it the "good to see british players etc etc"?

@mike: the dutch? the dirty dutch?

  • Netherlands or Brazil for me. Would make a very entertaining final

  • Are you on the piss?

  • Chalfie, cole to Roma is a bit of an odd one, but better that than taking 'Arry's money at qpr like rio is supposed to. Would have been better if he'd gone earlier, he's a bit like the reverse of shevchenko going to Chelsea after his glory years at Milan, one last big payday and a foreign adventure. Hope he gets into the swing of it and learns the language. Get the feeling Roma will want to try and win the league this season and he could be a big part of that...

  • Rio at QPR will be lolz.

  • is Anton still there ? the Ferdinand bros!

  • 'arrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Hilarity ensues.

  • Anton's out of contract, isn't he? Wasn't he out in Turkey?

  • Caulker is heading to qpr as well by the looks of things

  • Caulker needs to go to a half decent club if he's going to be as good as he can be, not fannying around with relegation battles every season.

  • Supposedly spurs have first refusal on him/sell on clause or some such wonder why we don't bring him back into the food, especially as kaboom is out of contract, Dawson is slow on the turn and chiriches is still getting used to the premiership. Caulker and vertonghen at centre back would be a great pairing for us..
