Shame the Holdsworth shop closed in Putney.
-
• #3
Lovely, but, a toilet roll?
-
• #4
The roll was weird indeed :)
Yeah shame the shop closed in Putney just when I've got mine.
Looks like Planet X is owning the rights now

That orange Professional is lovely. Wonder how much it weighs?
-
• #6
Finally, we can go out and buy a 531 Mixte frame off the shelf rather than waiting six months for one to appear on ebay.
-
• #7
Lovely, I wonder who actually builds them?
-
• #9
Very much abroad for the foreseeable future, but cheers for letting me know!
-
• #10
It looks like they're kind of available now (pre-order) over at planet-x - http://www.planetx.co.uk/c/q/frames/road-bike-frames/steel-bike-frames
-
• #11
They'll be showing at L'Eroica too
-
• #12
And they were lovely to see for for real at l'eroica this morning.

These look lovely... The Columbus Pro Italia is dreamy.....what wheels to go on etc etc
Anyone thinking of building one up? Do share parts lists, my bank balance needs convincing!
-
• #14
I already have an original (well the frame) one, so won't get one of these anytime soon, but they are a real treat to the eyes!
-
• #15
On me way up to Bakewell this morning, will be sure to have a look at these frames.
-
• #16
Very impressed with the new Holdsworth models, in particular, the orange professional looks awesome in the flesh.
-
• #17
Pictures anyone?
-
• #18
Sorry I didn't think to take any when I say them. To be fair the planet x marketing shots are good and accurate. Not sure I could have done the frames justice either!
-
• #19
:) no worries...I thought there were some builds of them.
-
• #20
Telegraph has a story about this today, interesting.
-
• #21
I still wonder where they source 531 from. Someone pointed out that Reynolds doesn't produce it anymore?
-
• #22
They're still being produced for the swimming credential for the last couple of years, lots of OTP track/road bike have 531.
-
• #23
ah not bad...I guess that's one of the reasons why the new frames are so expensive
-
• #24
Just reading the article, didn't know they are being built in Italy!!!
