Trying to get my head around cable routing on the bars for the new build... Is there a reason why most pro riders seem to have both the gear and brake cables routed at the front of the bars, instead of all behind, or just gear cables behind? I find that having the gear cable routed around the upper outsides edges and then back of the bar creates a better flat top for hands when on the tops of the levers. Does that make sense?
