it's a nice ride, 531 frame... -
• #6
you know the standover height?
-
• #7
and would you be willing to part from the frame set only?
-
• #8
Standover height is 82cm aprox 32 inches. I am not particularly keen on spliting it into parts but may consider if you make a good offer for the parts you want. hope it helps.

Hey there, if you haven't managed to sell the bike yet then I am interested in the bike as a summer project. I am too new to the forums to be able to send a PM but I live fairly locally (Amersham, about 25 miles from you) so can come to collect. I'd basically be buying it for the frame and forks, looking to sell on the wheels, handlebars etc. So to me it's not worth quite what you are asking but I can offer £130 and can view/buy/collect this week.

Is this still available

• #15
I didn't hear back to my offer. But I have since got a different frame so if it is available you are first in line

All right. I won't be in London until the 19th of August, so in case it is still available there, I'll get in touch!
-
• #19
But would go for 160 probably if everything is as it sounds.

details are as follows
FRAME: Carlton Ten 1970s Reynolds 531. 60cm seat tube , 56cm top tube.Original paintwork is a bit rough with surface rust here and there but in my opinion still quite good for a 1970s jobie. The frameset is structurally fine. No cracks, no rust perforations, no seized bits or any other issues.
a bit more on the frameset can be found here:
