If you register your ride here you might be able to entice other Women looking for a ride to join you.

If you want anything from a Rapha-erer ask me or Scoot.

100km is 62 miles, which makes it sound more manageable. And I think I'm actually free that day, which is a miracle. Unless everything still hurts from Dunwich, which is a possibility.
I would be geared to the max though - is that allowed? (I love my gears) -
• #33
think I might do this as I'm doing the prudential ride 100 thing in 4 weeks and I haven't done any training... eep.

• #34
I'm up for it if I'm not too Dynamo tired (I think I'll be ok...)

So we need to agree few deets before we register:
Destination - I'd be really up for Whitstable. Any dissenters?
Departure time - meet 9 for 9.30 as per last time, leaving from Greenwich station.

^^ KT, sorry for late reply, been watching t'cycling in t'north.
Whitstable is cool with me (chips and icecream and craft beer on the beach) though I really don't mind if anyone else has any preferences? I just checked and trains from Whitstable are on that day - it's 1.5hours back to London, £20 each but hopefully we can activate some groupsave action.
9 for 9.30 start is good. Don't forget we'll need wee stops within the first 5 miles! I have a route that I'll dig out.

OK - I have tried about 3 times to register. I may have registered us multiple times - or they just objected to my lack of face book. Will check and try again tomorrow.

Thanks for doing that!
If a facebook page/group thing is necessary I'm happy to do that -

Have finally managed to register ride. It will be published 'pending approval'. Hopefully this means we get free stuff.

So, erm, my sweet fixie is completely and utterly hosed and will certainly not be making an outing on this ride, so I'll have to bring gears. I promise not to be a dick with them, though.

will be geared too as i need to get out on it more. just did a very comfy DD on singlespeed, wondering whether I should even persevere with the gears for this Ride100 thing but a) there are hills in Surrey and b) it gets a lot of compliments. I so vain.

^ Brilliant! If I had a bike that got compliments I'd ride it ALL THE TIME.
Really looking forward to this.

Boffs!!
If you still south, can I trail behind you to Greenwich? Take pity on my little legs :-).
-

I'll be riding down to Greenwich from Paddington, so if anyone wants to tag along, let me know.
Also, I was chatting with Scoot the other day, and she said that if you are able to record your ride and upload it to strava you get some sort of mission accomplished thing and a badge, even if your ride isn't registered.

Moar badges! Excellent.
I have a nice route to Whitstable - I'm in meetings pretty much all day today but I'll dig it out and post it up.

Sure thing. I have no idea how to get to Greenwich so this will be an exciting adventure for us both, just like the time I took you on that roundabout the houses route trying to find the bagel place on Brick Lane :-)
8:30, Brixton Ritzy?
tommy's posts have been removed, I've warned him via PM.
