280k isn't unrealistic for a professional's workhorse - a lot more likely than 28k, I'd wager. A day's heavy shooting can nudge four figures on it's own. And they can and do last that long if they are looked after.
All that said.. anyone giving these serious thought would need to take into account the cost of a shutter replacement for it sooner or later (in the area of £200).
