I'm planning on watching around Lea Bridge Road but I can't really remember what it's like. Any suggestions for vantage points, cheers.

I keep having mild panic attacks, worrying that the Tour route doesn't actually pass Luci's Corner. I just imagine us all stood there like lemons in the wrong location entirely...
...like I did during the 2002 Vuelta.

Hello all,
Thought this could be of interest, my two part interview with the chap who was responsible for bringing and organising the 5th stage of the 1994 Tour in Portsmouth. Details the hurdles of bringing such a massive operation to town whilst keep in schtum and discusses any potential legacies on a local and national level.
Rather selfishly a friend of mine decided to get married in the Dorset countryside tomorrow, so I wish everyone attending a great time.
Thanks for the links.
I watched Le Tour roll through Havant from the roadside. The speeds that they were going were frightening!

maybe navigate to where Cross Roads / Earl's Path meets Epping New Road, to enjoy a pint or few at The Robin Hood, as long as its open that day..
.. good vantage viewspot might be upon the roundabout there with a view of them approaching ?!
