Word of warning, folks:
A mate of mine lives in Ilkley and says the supermarkets are stripped of food - the influx of campers have snaffled the lot!
If you're relying on buying fodder up here, aim to go to a big supermarket first, rather than hoping to grab goods locally. That's the strength of the southern pound for ya! :)

In other news, be careful out there (from the BBC here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-28159172 )
Three cyclists have been injured in crashes on the route of the Tour de France race in North Yorkshire.
Swaldale Mountain Rescue Team (SMRT) said they were called to two accidents on the Buttertubs Pass in the Yorkshire Dales.
One man was airlifted to hospital after two bicycles collided on Thursday.
In a separate incident on the same day, a cyclist hit a crash barrier and the man was catapulted over and stopped just short of a 300-foot drop.
The extent of the injuries to the three riders is not known.
Alan Woodhead, assistant rescue leader for SMRT, said there had been a dramatic increase in the number of cyclists wanting to ride the route.
"It's a mountain stage," he said.
"It's very steep in parts and there are some very, very tight bends.
"People shouldn't underestimate it because it is a English mountain."

I've ridden fixed on many of these roads - the secret is not being ashamed of getting of and pushing! You'll be fine, matey.

I'm driving up to Sheffield tomorrow (from London) at 9am if anyone wants a lift with their bike. Give me an email on guyss@gmx.co.uk if so and i'll email straight back. Cheers
Heading up to Huddersfield on the weekend for Sundays stage then arranged a 'site visit' on Monday afternoon at one of my projects that backs onto St James' park.
