Thanks,always easier to be wiser after the event but the insurance thing is
so important,I am self employed in the building trade and 3 months with no income before I can work again is freaking me out.
Just one more thing,if anyone else finds them self in the same situation in the same vicinity and in the back of an ambulance heading to Whipps X and you can still hobble,ask them to stop,get a cab and make for the Homerton,the difference in care is amazing,I have been with mates twice in the last year to Whipps after bike/car incidents and although the staff are doing their best they are completely undervalued and shit upon.
