For Sale: 58 cm Cube Peloton Road bike, Kryptonite Lock and Specialized Helmet

My mate is moving to New York and has left his ** 58cm 2013 Cube Peloton Road** bike with me to sell along with a Kryptonite NY Fahgettaboudit lock. and Specialized Echelon II Helmet

The bike is about a year old and in excellent condition. It has only done a few hundred miles and recently had a new set of Continental Gatorskins fitted and the bars have just been freshly re-taped.

Cube bikes are very popular here.. Cause they have wooonderbaar value. Cheap with very reasonable kit (not throwing around nameless components and weak chains-crankset-cassette or brakes..)

Same frame, different kit. But Sora here means Sora, so HT2 cranks, brakes, not the square tapered FSA Vero shit found on other entry-level bikes, and the brakes are not some OEM ones.

Have a bump and GLWS. Perhaps not a very appealing bike due to the brand, but a very well made frame with a decent kit for a bargainous priice.

I might be interested in the bicycle but would prefer to try it for size. I'm 183cm (6') and not sure if this or a 60cm frame might be better suited. I don't wish to inconvenience you either, but I could visit Hammersmith if you would be happy to bring it there.

Sir, this bike suits 182-187 cm tall fellows according to the official site's geometry table.

I know it. Trust me, I'm 187 cm, riding a frame with 17cm headtube and 57cm horizontal top tube. And another frame with 57 cm toptube as well..

The 58 cm Cube Peloton has a TT length (horizontal) of 56 cm and a headtube of 17.5cm.

Perfectly made for 182-187 cm tall people IMHO.

The 60cm is a very big frame, with very tall headtube. This bike will suit you fine..

The 60cm would look very silly for a guy with your height. It'd be even large for me.. :)

I have to make a note of how you went about the sale. It was truly in poor spirit.

I was the first to post here and was never told about another buyer. You also stated the bike had been left with you for sale when it clearly had not and you asked me to contact the owner. It then took your ”friend” more than 24 hours to respond to my SMS and I've had no update since. A very poor and disappointing experience.
