  • Beautiful stuff

  • Very comfy over the 50miles to Lincoln from notts. Absolutely rammed with stuff.

  • is your made of a different material? it looks less stiff

  • Mmmmm extra side tension straps...

  • No idea rogan you'd have to ask J...
I think it looks like a grimacing face...quite apt considering I did laps of michaelgate and spring hill till I got bored (c14% so not bad, but cobbled).

  • Only just saw this,

I love that bag! fond memories making it. We didn't sort out your shovel mod, though!

Anything is possible within reason, the worst you can do is ask - I don't overcharge for bespoke really.

    Thanks!

  • Loving my new saddle roll - have a satisfied customer bump!

  • Tempted by one of these, are the sternum straps removable does anyone know?

  • Tempted by one of these, are the sternum straps removable does anyone know?

I can make a pack with a removable strap if needs be? I'll PM you

  • Got a saddle roll second hand, absolutely love it. Will order a bag beofre going back to uni!

  • My custom order black rucksack is currently on hols with me. Love it, will post a wee review once back. Cheers!

  • How much would a custom jobby backpack be?

  • I have the mini Messenger bag one in mint condition, does anybody want to sell me their daysacks with part trading with my mini messenger bag plus cash from my side?

    Cheers!

  • Hey Trent...How's that medium messenger coming along... my mini is still brilliant but sometimes you need to lug more shit.

it's pretty good actually. Comfortable and snug, one of the best messenger bags i have ever used. But yeh, as you've said, just need a bigger one sometimes. Would love to just part trade it to a day sack then getting a daysack itself.

  • Whats the turnaround on these? I am thinking I need one of these to take to the Pyreness with me in August?

  • Took me a week to get mine, was not standard either.

Taking it to America for 2 weeks, will feedback... its been good so far. Comfortable when overloaded, it was especially good for carrying a small potted plant without damaging it - no mean feat on a bike!

  • You have a pic of yours mate? I really like eyebrows custom above, might have to go for a sneaky pinch of that design...

  • Damn, will have to put this on my TODO list.

Wanted a GORUCK for a long time, but not sure I could justify the import/customs fees... This looks like a nice alternative.

  • I needed something just a little bigger, this is 30-35L. With MOLLE on the front & compression straps on the side.

Sometimes I run to the shops, fill 'er up and run home with a fully laden Daysack. Does the job perfectly. Got heavily rained on one time on the way home, everything was dry inside.

Depending on what you want to use it for, I'd think about having a flat pocket on the front for slightly easier access to stuff - the zip pocket in lid can be bit fiddly when the bag is heavy & you don't have anywhere to set it down. The side compression straps work perfectly for carrying locks.

    Great value for money tbh.

  • Thought I'd chime in here... Got a daysack around Christmas time, so have been using mine for around 6 months now. Really good bag, comfortable, sturdy. Always get compliments on how well constructed and good it is/looks, always send them the way of the website. Can't recommend BigTop enough.

Modded mine slightly, by sewing on velcro to the lower portion of the clip straps, to which i've stuck the other side of the velcro covered with reflective 3M stuff... Like attached (shit) pic.

  • Nice mod.

    Are custom bags priced differently?

  • awesome! Not really, i add a tiny bit here or there, the mods don't put me much out of my way.

  • I really want one with a few changes to make it perfect for climbing. Floating lid so I can completely fill it, then put a rope on top and lash it down with the lid. Gear loops down the back would be nice too.
I've got my wedding to pay for at the moment so will have to wait until october...

  • I'm a climber myself so I can empathise with your needs. Can do it no problem. I've done a few mountain packs and they're awesome fun.
