I saw the person being attempted to be resuscitated, they were behind the lorry in the road. I was in the car today (lower parliament street/pennyfoot street, in front of Machine Mart). It didn't look good. The junction is awful for all road users at rush hour - people rushing though trying to get to work for 9am and generally flouting rules of the road. I hope the person made it.

A cyclist has been taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre following a collision with a heavy goods vehicle this morning.
Emergency services were called to the A60 in the city, at its junction with Pennyfoot Street, at around 8.30am today (Thursday 3 July 2014).
The driver of the HGV was also treated for suspected minor injuries.
The roads are closed while the scene is examined. Diversions are in place but motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
