• I think all you can do is either

    • prove you've sent the stuff (then it becomes RM problem)
      or
    • refund everyone and take it as a life lesson.

as for burning bridges here, you're not Lynchman (yet)

  • obviously got a few quid spent it , had a few laughs m now nervous cos the bill is coming your way ...........very soon

  • Velocio I dont care how high you apparently believe LFGSS is on google's search placement. I doubt very high, lets be honest. Employers I also certainly dont care about. Legal implications. Iv done my fair share of jail time.

Well, just to help that along I've changed the thread title to ensure your name is found and people don't fall for the fraud again.

Most employers have no right to ever find out about a criminal record, but now you've published the fact on the very thread that employers will find I guess they will.

  • Come on charlie if this shit happend to you, then you didnt hear from the seller for a month and no fucking goods youd be pretty fucked off as well.sort it out or return the monies

  • Bothwell my previous stretches are not for fraud, i have never been convicted of fraud. mainly violence.

I'm very sorry to hear that getting abused as a child has led you to a life of dishonesty and violence.

    sucks to be you

Good luck turning your life around and I sincerely hope you get to enjoy your time on this Earth.

Apollo its interesting you make such a statement

    Out of interest, why?

I'll do you a favour and not post the details, but I sure as hell will reply publicly.

    Via PM:

Interesting because Of course not something i really want to talk about openly, but also nothing to do with this situation either.

Interesting. Now I understand you a little more.

I'm not saying it has anything to do with this allegation of fraud, but it definitely has affected your life and your history of violence.

You sound like you need to calm down, and offer a calm and collected response to this whole issue.

If I were you I would refund everyone to save you future embarrassment.

  • Can I just add this from your pm...

    Hey Joe.

I dont have Paypal sadly. I am based in sunny Suffolk. And after 6 is no problem at all. Just keep me updated.

    Charlie

Well, it seems that you did have a paypal account as Velocio informed us. I suggest you use it. Can I suggest that saying you don't have a paypal account when you clearly do will not help your case? I don't bear you any ill-will, I am not bothered about ripping you apart online. I just want my £20 or my seatpost.

If the items were lost in the post I suggest you log a claim and repay everyone from both threads. It seems that for so many items to have been lost there must be some funny business going on somewhere between you and royal mail no?
I await your pm. Not your email- You didn't respond to the emails I sent you (to both accounts)

  • Charlie (Z) Harris, you have formed a contract of sale with the individuals whom you have (allegedly) defrauded.

You are responsible, as per Charlottes post - the Police don't have to prove anything, YOU have to prove you sent the items, which you can't, so you are fucked.

The only issue I can think of is finding Charlie (Z) Harris' address, how's that coming along?

Will take the police 2 shakes of a whatever they shake these days. The bank account the money went to will be linked to an address which will probably be linked in with a file for all his previous offences not to mention his tax+NI+employers+voting ect ect. His "new life" might get a shake up if he was funny enough to not declare his history to a new employer in the new part of the world he is living in and they do checks on him for shits and giggles when he suddenly misses work to have a chat with the police.

But Charlie Z Harris know's the system and plays the system well so "you ain't got narfin on 'im bruv"

  • solid gold thread. you won't believe what happens next etc.

    charlie - do u karate?

  • There are really only two options available. Lfgss isn't likely to let this go, so either it will become a police matter as people have made their intentions clear OR you can refund people's money, take it as a life lesson from which you'll learn, and get out of the situation with your dignity roughly intact.
If you do the latter then it's all gravy. No police, no easily found accusations of fraud, and bridges not completely burned.
Legally you're in a tricky position and it's a case you would almost cerainly lose... Is it worth it? Personally I don't think so.

  • charlie z harris fraudster ipswich suffolk - natwest bank account colchester / email / phone number/ip address / photo id / family employer should be enough to track him down . even dixon of dock green (deceased) could find him !

  • Legally you're in a tricky position and it's a case you would almost cerainly lose... Is it worth it? Personally I don't think so.

£200 or thereabouts for a criminal record? sounds like a steal

(as in cheap, not the literal meaning (quite yet))

  • LOLS, straight into LFGSS folklore. Charlie Z Harris, fraudster, owner of a ruined arsehole, internet tough guy with the intelligence and razor sharp legal mind of a crayon. Slam dunk, time to panic, quick snort the hash dude before it too late!

  • Iv only sold things via bank transfer, ask the previous buyers with no problems. I even boxed up and sold a tandem a year ago for nearly £400. And trust me. Boxing up a tandem with 3 bike boxes is hassle to say the least. I love bikes and love cycling not that i ever get long enough to hold onto my bikes. I seriously dont know what to do about his situation.
I did have a paypal account though I had issues linking it to my new bank account with a new address. Like i said. Iv taken payment through my bank for items with no issues.

Reculver. I agree id be fucked off aswell. But im not sure what more i could do about it if i didnt pay for tracking. I sent all the items sold on the same day. If it werent for all the rubbish on this thread then id probably have reacted differently.

Apollo. I appreciate your response and your right. But im not a fraudster. I'd love to pay back all the money right now if i could and be done with this. But its not as simple as that. Sat here thinking to be honest id rather the police get involved and it get dealt with that way.

  • his spelling was better than most tho !

  • Its FRAUD and this attached to your name will come back and haunt you forever. In twenty or thirty years time even a fraudulent car tax disc will rear its ugly head, trust me ive seen it happen.I was working at the BANK of ENGLAND money office (in DEBDEN),you know the one where them women worked out a way of stealing the used bank notes before they cut them in half for destruction(they made a film about it),armed cops arrived and took my mate away in handcuffs for having a bent tax disc on his criminal record

  • SO WHERES THE FUCKING PROOF YOU SENT THE GOODS ? "umm err i dont know what happened - i fell and the box disappeared crap i once sent a tandem blah blah , i ve been i jail etc etc "

  • Charlie is a fucking disgrace. The images of the components he was selling were taken from other websites. Surely this puts weight to the claim that he's a dirty lying bastard.

Charlie why did you take images of components from other websites? Explain this please.

  • Images from what websites?

  • the other cycling websites you seem to be signed up for "charliezh13"

  • As DT pointed out, £200 odd quid doesn't seem much for the matter being dropped and this not going further.
With a criminal record already if this did go to court they'd be less likely to be lenient. It would be a case you can't win which would mean your having to pay court and legal costs as well a repayment/fine/time. That will be more than £200 quid, go on the record, and be really time consuming and boring for everyone.

  • Re. intention to create legal relations, this case may be of interest:

  • Sat here thinking to be honest id rather the police get involved and it get dealt with that way.

    This smacks of guilt.

You'd rather get the cops involved because you know you have committed fraud. You have spent the money and you don't have it to pay back. You're trying to call bluff here. Maybe you're not that bothered about another criminal record and would rather that than pay these people back. You know how long it will take for these people to get their money back by going to court. You probably think these people will just let is slide. But they won't.

    What a low life.

So log a claim with the royal mail for the SEVERAL items that have gone missing and repay all of us (From both threads). That should happen relatively quickly (sometimes post does go missing- The RM will be able to let you know if this is the case)

You're top of page 3 on Google. If I remember the "RED!" post, that went on for ages. You're probably young enough and decent enough not to want google to F*ck your life up are you not? These LFGSS people will run and run with it. I think we could all do with an explanation as to why you haven't responded to PM's, Emails, etc, and where you have been for a month. Also, which post office where the items sent from? That would be useful to know.

The thing I would most likely to know is why did you use links to pictures ripped off the internet? Did you not have these items in your possession yet?

You'll notice I haven't Put Charlie Harris -Fr*udster yet- I'm tempted to, but will patiently await an explanation of the above...

To be honest, I'm actually tempted to suggest that everyone on the forum add Charlie Z Harris (Fr*udster) as an addendum to their screen names, but that would probably give Velocio a melt down
