A quick gander of the map suggests driving up to Thwaite via M1 and A1(M) and then cutting in West over the top of the route.
Anyone stupid enough to join me? Probably meet some Norths types on Saturday evening to camp overnight but possibly ditch Sunday and just drive back on Saturday.
