And in doing so it becomes anti.
Although, and I'm not meaning to be rude, could it be for a 'person of short stature'? -

All ready for the ride up to Yorkshire:
This is a great set up. Much jealous. I really like the bikes in this thread that are set up for brisk road riding / don't compromise the ride but are sill set up for carrying kit and going adventuring. The small front rack set up looks spot on. Have you been for a test ride lap of the block to see how it feels?

Most mini velos have 406/451 size rims, those look smaller.

Come with compressionless housing and TRP Spyres - they're doing it right.

They're singing the praises of disc brakes but I go canti every time for these reason:
Less standard worldwide
Weaker rear wheel, since more dished both sides
Harder to replace/fix
Always seem to rubPoached the wording from here:

and a mid trail fork

Worldwide standard isn't a problem, weaker wheels dishes I can understand, it's not harder to fix if you know how to work it (like you do with cantis), as for them rubbing, as long you do it up properly it shouldn't rub*
*unless they're single sided cable pull in which case can fuck right off.

And the pages is last updated in 2010, where dish brakes are much more primitive.

LX canti pads are shite. Seriously lack of power under load. Any recommendations?

A set of mini-v's from planet x are £20. They're a fucking fantastic upgrade. Kool stop canti pads are a good alternative to an upgrade to new calipers.

Kool Stop salmon are my pad of choice. I use the V-brake pads in Jagwire holders so I can slip a new pad in with minimal adjustment. The salmon ones are especially good in the wet.

£899 !
Shame about the racks, surprised considering the attention to detail elsewhere. Rear should have welded fixing arms at the correct length for frame considering it is an OTP. Front rack should have a brace around front, althought maybe I am being fussy as forks do seem quite stout.
is the mudguard on those axle mount things too?
