Will try tomorrow. Have levelled the saddle a bit, and rotated the bars down.
Also fitted some Planet Bike Raceblades-esque clip on mudguards. Would love to have proper mudguards (like PDW Full Metal Fenders), but I don't think they'll fit. I think I'll keep the mudguards on for a while.

It looks fantastic.
Raceblade Longs would be the way to get proper 'guard coverage.

Really nice. Did you mention there was quite a bit of dust from the shotblasting process? How's that now?

Thanks. Yeah, I looked at them in the shops the other day. Maybe down the track, but I had these ones lying around, so I'll stick with them. They keep my bum dry and some of the crap off my legs.

It wasn't too bad after I sanded the frame back with 1200 grit wet and dry sandpaper and then wiped it over with methylated spirits. The clear coat went on fine with no issues either.

Also, the black electrical tape on the seat tube is to stop the half drilled out water bottle bolt from rattling.

Could you something like jb weld?

I tried JB Weld to hold the rivnut in place while I tried to remove the bolt, but no luck. I'm just going to drill the bolt and rivnut out and replace it.
They're a lovely fork I think. The skinny fork and phat choobz of the frame work well together but the different colours on this probably show up the difference more.
