They seem to be pushed up more into a wingback position, and with Lahm dropping back it pushes Boeteng and Mertersacker out into the fullback role.

Longer the contract the more we can try and get if someone comes in for him. We seem to be tying all out first team down to longer term contracts this summer. Apparently Hughes has also signed up for another 4 years. I expect if we don't get up this season then most of the current team will find prem football elsewhere. One of those things innit.
