Old: Essex Road Station platform sign.
New: Knowledge is power. Until you read enough, you may be able to work it out if you clap one thousand times.

That's just the way First Capital Connect keep it. Apparently you can get travel updates on Ceefax page 432.

From the London Bike Kitchen website
"What’s the big idea?
The London Bike Kitchen is an open DIY workshop where you can work on your own bike instead of giving it to someone else.
We’re here to:
a) Promote self-reliance and confidence through education
b) Make cycling accessible and affordable
c) Get more people of all backgrounds on bicyclesWe have a full tool library, mechanics on hand to help and courses to build skills so that you can learn how to take care of your sweet two-wheeled machine: Intro to Bike Maintenance, Wheel Building, Build Your Own Bike (BYOB) and Sturmey Archer Hub Maintenance, to name a few. To enhance your experience we’ll also hold women + gender-variant nights, monthly rides, bicycle-related events (including the infamous Bicycle Bingo) and give Members Only Perks.
As a non-profit, our goal is to create a workshop that is self-sustaining and open to everyone. The money that you spend here will subsidise classes and shop time for those from disadvantaged backgrounds, allowing them to gain access to bikes and bicycle education."
Yep that's Pete (Petor) and his awesome tall bike (shit load of Paul components) which he's this morning taken to France for 5 days.

Awesome idea, I've heard a little of it but never been.
Petor's fucking awesome, but nuts. Tallbikes are just nuts.

Hmmm I'm trying to work out if Pepe's clue is about sexual health or applause....

I'm pretty sure page 432 was the cricket.

That was apparently 342
Meanwhile FCC are still plugging Ceefax at http://www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk/contact-us/btp-and-further-information/ but now they have lost the franchise they are really unlikely to remove it.I wonder if English Heritage could be pursued to list the Network South East branding?

He's been a Tweed Run marshal every year for years now. Often he does that on a tallbike, without falling off. He didn't do that this year but on one of the recces he did turn up ghostriding the fattest fatbike I have ever seen.

Have I killed the game?
As a platform on Essex road suggested,I took it northbound*, and this one is for the people of a good old norff.- it's much quicker to cycle there, which I did.
^In Pizzaman related news, one of the recent Pizza Champions was just round the corner from here.

Wait--there's a game?
-
• #15216
There used to be one.
Yes, there's a map too.
-
• #15217
Recent Pizza Champs was east of Essex Rd, I am confuzled.
-
• #15218
It's further north than Essex road.

OK ta.

100 times, no?

Right - this is my debut in the game, so fingers crossed...
Old - Clapton Library on Northwold Road
New - Topical tag. All eyes are on South America at the moment but, to my mind, the North of here is the real spiritual home of the beautiful game - every Sunday morning. For the sake of the game, it's the building in the background that's been tagged.

Welcome to the game, skiptotheend. There should always be one clue.

yunodriveside?
In BToB?
I suppose I have a habit of always parking my bike driveside away.

Oliver is a maverick, Oliver doesn't play by the rules, but goddamit he gets results.
I wasn't aware there was that rule in BToB. Bear in mind that I don't read any of the obsessive bike photography threads, where this is easy to imagine as a rule.

Working right there tomorrow. If people are generous enough to wait I can tag this with half a dozen kids' bikes which I have wanted to do for a long time.
Aha, the only cooking they're doing is building bieks. Cool.
