Buy it, have it worked on slowly (my brother has an original Golf GTI which the guy looks over when he's not working on other things) and reap the rewards when it appears on your driveway looking minty fresh.
The longer you wait, the sweeter the taste when it comes through.

It's not for sale as yet, but I'm going to approach the owner.

I just got my licence re-issued and they've updated the entitlement section:
Which includes Cat A, which according to this: https://www.gov.uk/driving-licence-categories
Is:
Category A
You can drive:
motorbikes with a power output more than 35kW or a power to weight ratio more than 0.2kW/kg
motor tricycles with a power output more than 15kWI've never passed a motorcycle test, so is this just referring to motor-tricycles (which sound cool)?
-
• #20462
Yeah, you can ride a trike of any power while wearing glasses or contacts.
You know you want too...

Yes, it's just trikes. You would have nothing in the 4rd column (labelled 12. why DVLA, why?) if you had passed your bike test.
This has come about because trikes used to come under category B but have now been moved to category A. Those people who had cat B before the change, like yourself, will get this. No new entitlement, just a change in classification.
