Why would you use that term when you're having a heated discussion with the opposition captain, unless you're trying to provoke? And if you're using racial terms with the intention of provoking, how can that be anything other than racism?
I can't tell if you're just trying to play devil's advocate, or if you've somehow managed to convince yourself that in the middle of a game where the two of them had been tussling and arguing, Suarez would suddenly turn to Evra and use a harmless term of endearment.
If the latter, I give up, and I'll have to start agreeing with the rest of the thread about Liverpool fans.
Sorry football thread for going on with this- my final word on this: ^Some is devils advocate but but my initial ire was motivated by mud throwing from followers of different clubs with players of less than squeaky clean reps themselves. I'm still frustrated by the club's (lfc) foolish stance first time around which allowed the effluence inwards; a quick apology and it would have all gone away. Instead it still reeks of shit down our way. I'm still a little ashamed about how the incident drew the worst of our 'fans' in the aftermath, many of whom left a string of disgusting "anonymous" signed posts all over the net. (See Collymore's twitter)
It's a worry I'm hearing more and more head in the sand stuff from our ranks defending his latest action. There's a lot to dislike about him like the snide challenges, the diving, throwing toys out the pram at team mates, a complete lack of class despite getting end of season gongs from our media but a whopping big racist? Not for me. Nowhere near the same level of Busquets or Terry. A fucking idiot? Yes.
I worry about more turbulence ahead given they may not want to sell their top asset current 2/3rd(?) best player.
I'm also irritated football authorities will not use video evidence to retrospectively punish the likes of: Pepe History - YouTube

Again sorry all.
