Cheers for the info Alpha, as Rustynuts says, I think these inserts are only relevant up to 7 speed. The levers i have are definitely 8 speed.
I am not far off removing these levers and putting on a pair of friction ones. The Indexing would be very nice on this build though and the curved levers are in mint condition.
