Bit of a teaser......

I picked it up from the shop just before track league last night, Jimbilly smashed it out in two hours for me, after I'd predictably, forgotten to give him the rear mech hanger. This meant he had to delay starting the job and we both didn’t want the frame hanging around for another week while he's off spannering/racing next week.

I also chipped the paint dropping an Allen key on it in the workshop, which is unsurprising given my track record, but a good thing because it’s a tiny, tiny mark on the inside of the seat stay, and an even better thing because now I've broken the paint duck, I won’t feel so bad when I chip it properly.

In other breakage news I've broken the Ritchey crabon seat post already. The bonding between the tube and the base of the seat clamp has failed which made the rushed ride to HHV quite entertaining, and is also why the bike is hanging by the bars and not the seat post in the photo. I've swapped it out for a black alloy one off my old track frame for now.

I've only ridden it from BC - HHV then HHV - Pub - Home, but I already feel like I used to on it, It makes me smile and it feels like it really suits my riding style. It’s like I've just picked the dog up from the kennels after along trip away, we're both very, very happy to see each other.
So it’s got a long way to go then. Things to be done:[

Cut Steerer
Flip stem
Choose bottle cages
Send seat post back
De-sticker rims
De logo Stem & Bars
Think about a black chainset
Think about black/silver finishing touches, seat post collar etc. This is dependent on chainset colour I reckon.
Don’t break anything else.
Give Jim his pedals back.....
Ride the fook out of it.

I'll hopefully get some of the above done tonight.
