    This is due to items being offered for sale on multiple sites, and reports coming in that he takes the money and doesn't send the goods. Basically it is alleged that he's a rip-off artist. Whilst I have no proof that he is, there is certainly enough to arouse suspicion in the same few items being offered on multiple sites at prices too good to be true.

    He generally advertises using photos of slightly older equipment, and those photos come from Flickr.

    Aside from general advice like being extremely cautious when something looks too good to be true, I'd also say that it's advisable that people do a reverse image search using Google Images or Tin Eye to see whether the source of the images in adverts is plausibly the person who posted the advert.
