1995/6 Chorus inherited some leftover C-Record parts: so it is a Record pin, but marked "Chorus". If anyone can see "Chorus", their eyes are better than mine (which is entirely likely).

C Record would have the Campagnolo shield engraved on it.
C-Record seatposts came both with and without an engraved shield (as did Chorus). You need to compare the saddle clamp bolts for an ID: exposed = Record; hidden = Chorus and lower (you will need scales and possibly a metallurgist to sift the wheat from the chaff).
