For Sale: Trek 7.1 FX with upgraded components

Hi there,

Due to moving abroad, I am selling my bikes. Here is my beautiful Trek 7.1 fx hybrid bike. I used it for a cycling trip last summer and it's been brilliant, apart that it's a bit tall for me. The ride is smooth, the gears are working perfectly, the brakes as well.

The bike has received upgrades : a brand new Q-bik Selle italia seat (worth 40£), 2 almost new (I used them for less than 100 miles) puncture proof tyres (with kevlar protection) : front is schwalbe marathon plus and back is Continental contact, worth 35£ each. It also has a rack (30£) and a kickstand (15£).

The bike is in very good condition, not pristine though as you would expect with an used bike, I have spotted some minor marks.

As for sizing, the frame is 17.5" (44.5 cm). I am 5'4" and it's a bit tall for me, so I think it will suite someone 5"5 to 5"9

Is that rack attached?

what do you mean by attached ?

As in it doesn't look very securely attached at the seat post, I'm asking, not to be difficult but to see if it can take load as this would be perfect for my wife but it needs to be able to take a child seat on the back...

Oh no no don't worry it is very securely attached by both seatpost and frame. But if you want to put a child seat you will have to remove the rack anyway ?

PS : I used it during a cycling trip last summer, I was carrying 15 kilos, so a child should not be a problem

I'd probably use another rack but I wanted to to know the fixings were there, could post a closeup pic please? Also does it have mudguard mounts?
