For some reason I had strootman down as either a defensive mid, or a box to boxer, rather than the creative fulcrum. My bad.
In terms of disappointing midfielders, I think Oscar despite his workrate has been disappointing. This brazil side is going to live or die by neymar doing his thing.
Argentina's midfield looks better when gago plays and like brazil they go as far as messi takes them. Still surprised scolari didn't take Lucas moura who could have added a bit of invention if neymar gets crocked...
