Dammit - a few of these have already been mentioned but I'd try:

Keep it indoors, somewhere where there is a lot of light and the temperature doesn't fluctuate too much.
And if you're feeling brave, cut the top section off and remove any dead branches/leaves. Hopefully that will kick it back into life*
