The Kelloggs thing - you have to buy an adult and child ticket to get a second adult ticket free. Or am I missing the trick?
-
• #53
It's one adult free with another paying adult or child

Reading fail - gonna go get some crunchy nuts. Who want to be my ticket buddy?

Route uploaded to garmin! I've plotted a route back too but can't be held accountable if it's awful and involves the M25 or any offroad sections.
Fasih, I'm sure we can figure out voucher buddies when we get there. Bring along any vouchers you have and it'll all be grand.

I drank too much RedBull at the Nocturne. Can't sleep now. I will meet you just before Putney Bridge on the way out. Hopefully someone will see this thread before you leave Hyde Park.

Hattie + co are leaving Hyde Park Corner now. They will stop at Putney Bridge to collect stragglers. Anyone who wants to meet at Putney post here so we know to wait for you.

Watch out for Branwen - he was looking very competitive yesterday!

All together, quick coffee stop @ Putney, moving soon

Watch out for Branwen - he was looking very competitive yesterday!
God, he was an embarrassment. All those sobbing children being led away with broken noses. Horrified mothers. Terrified staff. And the less said about that security guard the better. I hope he regained consciousness.

We are all at Thorpe Park, following a snapped chain, a few missed turns and lots of phone calls not being heard.
There's loud pop music being blared over the park, I'm in heaven!!

An excellent day! Thanks to Tanya for organising and Hattie for leading the ride.
My chain snapped around Sunbury. Branwen came back and had a chain tool - the one thing I left out of my saddle bag - since it doesn't fit. Going to get a nice compact one after today's lesson. So a massive thanks to him!

That picture is hilarious. You can tell I've had donuts.
It was a really fun day, thanks everyone for coming! Sorry for a slightly straggly ride out - I feel awful for not noticing Fasih's chain snap and am glad Branwen was able to fix it. The park itself was ace, my favourite ride was definitely Colossus. You might have been able to tell this from my hysterical laughing...
Ride back was good too - thanks to Fred for leading the way. That roadie was pretty annoyed with me for racing him to Hampton. Ha! There was another funny moment later on when a homeless guy stepped out in front of Oz and I and shouted "NO RIDEY RIDEY BIKES, BAD FOR JIGGY JIGGY!" and made some obscene gestures at us. I guess between our cycling-related impotence and our rollercoaster-induced brain and ear bleeds, we're doing alright.

So!
I have redeemed 11 squids of tesco clubcard stuff to get a free ticket to Thorpe Park.
I need people to accompany me.
Maybe some time in July?
As per the ride last year, people can ride out and/or back as preferred.
there are usually 2-4-1 tickets available. I'll have a look.

Starting a new thread for Sat 26 July.
Got some Kellogg's, so that's me and the wife sorted.
