What the fuck is an 'A2 project'?

The open ended section of an A level where poorly advised students can try things that the examiners don't like and have said so in every Midlands moderation meeting since 2005. Such as architectural models in Product Design - a one off building or public space does not easily fit the syllabus description of a product.

Something along the lines of a wall mounted modular locker with integrated vertical rack / locking point? - could be attached to any wall, could be modelled both to scale (multiple units along a wall) and full size without resorting to metalwork.
The 'real life' situation could be any existing unused wall space. Look out of the window or door when you get to school/college (guessing, given A2): you will see both the environment and probably the potential users.
You might even make one for real - much easier to test and evaluate than a whole building... -

A dog egg made of papier mache
I need inspiration for what I am going to design next year for my A2 project.
I could build a outdoor space or a new inventive product interior design, architecture, basically anything!! (model scale)
Real life situations are good also, for example if a shop was getting refurbished, I would have to design the floor plan/layout. If a building was getting demolished, I would redesign a whole new building.
It doesn't have to do with cycling also.
Any ideas/help/contribution will be much appreciated!
