Are these uni fork bikes actually safe?

Short answer: yes
Long answer: yes, google 'cannondale lefty'

I knew someone will ask this.
I'm a 95 kg guy and I like to push the bikes to the limits, I love to sprint, trackstand and doing endos.
In the time that I rode this bike I couldn't notice any flexion coming from the fork or torsional problems when braking.
Is super stiff and the only flexion you can notice is the wheel flexion as in any other bike, but nothing else.Actually this is probably the stiffer version of the solo fork they've ever made. Cedric gracia used to ride 4x with a lefty and that was not a problem for him to win so...

I've always wondered when I've seen them. Im sure they have been tested to destruction but it just always looked dangerous.

Yes, I know what you mean. Before I had this I was riding an old version and I crushed a car on the side. The frame snapped on the headtube weldings but the fork was in perfect condition, not even slightly bent...

Hi
Im interested in bad boy bike.
Is it still available?
Hi there
I'm selling my Cannondale Bad Boy 700c Solo fork 2012 L size.
I used to ride this bike back in spain as my commuter. By then I rode it with drop bars and mechanical brakes but I actually think it looks much better this way.
The bike is brand new cos I bought it a few months before I came to London, by september I think and I don't use it since january so it's basically brand new as you can see in the pictures (which don't show how in good condition it is actually). Even the original chain has lots of miles left as the picture shows.
I fitted some different stem and handlebar because the original stem was too short and I didn't like the flatbars so I fitted some parts I had at home
The brakes are Shimano, almost new and very powerfull, actually I'll provide a set of brand new brake pads for them.
The tires are Giant, they are also new, light and grippy.
Pedals are not the originals cos basically they were shit.
The bike has a 3 speed Sram E-motion 3 with a grip shift shifter but because it has an eccentric bottom brackect
you can ride it singlespeed or even fixed if you want.
This is a bike that you can't get anymore because they stop releasing the solo rigid fork and also the suspension version as I can see on the web. I think this one looks much better compared with other solo forks versions from other years.
This is a 1000 pounds unique bike with not even four months use for 800. And if you need some extras we can talk about it.
