I have seen an accident claims company and they think I should get a reasonable compensation payment which should also include (subject to engineers report and valuation) full replacement value of comparable bike and any damaged kit like phone / garmin shoes and apparel etc. Hopefully I will not lose out financially and there will be at least one taxi driver who will remember to look behind before opening his door.
