I bought my first car in such a manner. I wouldn't get a licence for 10 more years.
A totally shagged-out 1982 Rover SD1 2000 in a faded red colour with fist-size holes in the suspension turrets and over 220,000 miles on the clock.
£74.
Drove it once. It was completely shit. Scrapped it.
