Correlation always implies causation. Everybody knows that.

Apart from the fact that they didn't patent using a white background so black bikes on black backgrounds are either done by someone who hasn't read news articles with credible sources and thinks they aren't allowed to use white backgrounds or because they wanted to for creative purposes.
