*Almost, our management are very scared of banning any particular brand or model of tyre. They won't even let us categorically ban dual compound tyres though we can advise against them.
I'd be surprised if Lee Valley take as hardline a stance as Manc but I would expect they'll be a bit stricter than we are being.
We have plenty riders that are also riding Meadowbank and Caird Park on the same tyres they are using with us, as to what those tyres are...I dunno, sorry.
Just dual compound, coloured and michelins are 'banned'.
There are some coloured tyres which can be fine, but as so many are not it's better just to have that advice. All michelins seem to be slippery on wood, so again just common sense there. If you can't find anything made by conti or vittoria then you're probably being difficult. For clinchers I like vittoria diamanté prolite, tubs I like vittoria pista elite or pista evo cs. I don't like the standard cheap pista CS as the base tape comes up at the sides and they seem to go hard quite quickly.
