  • Exciting news! Pete Mitchell, double para-cycling world champ and winner of the Good Friday international sprint, will be riding.

  • Tricky and I (and the rest of the usual BC crew) will be down at track league tonight if anyone wants any important info on things like; how amazing Captain Cliffs BBQ will be and exactly which alcholic beverages will be available in the Beer SuperDome (gazebo)

Some other non essential information about actual racing might be forthcoming aswell.

  • Beer SuperDome I like it, #twomenenteronemanleave!

  • Love the madison explanation, you should be writing our press release you wordsmith!

  • Can't make it league tonight but wondering if you got my email about only doing Sprint events. Did get a confirmation.

  • Good racing last night, great to meet you lot for pints at dog and vomit.

  • Can't make it league tonight but wondering if you got my email about only doing Sprint events. Did get a confirmation.

I haven't seen it. What did you want to know?

Sprinters and support endurance riders are all lumped in together but if you only want to ride the sprint events that's no problem. You can get up and ride any or none of the support events if you like.

  • My partner broken a wrist on Saturday, therefore I'm out of madison and in for support races.

  • dimi... i'm available next sunday.
Seriously, ive never done it before but how hard can holding hands at 70kph be?

  • Whoever the nice chaps were who volunteered to put up posters for us last night, thank you and you put many of many fellow clubman to shame!

  • In case your interested we will be peadlling all sorts of stuff at the Beer Super Dome

    -Kernel
    -Brixton Beer
-Cider (to be confirmed) from the lovely people at the Ivy House (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for London Glider Cider

And yes hopefully we will have the totally awesome new bidons which may or may not have a passing resemblance to a certain fortified wine produced in the west country.

  • Entry in advance is now closed but there will be entry on the day for the women and support endurance events.

  • exciting, won't be long now!

  • Bare hype!

  • God dang it! Is there no room left in the spring events?

  • The sprint is very nearly full up. There will be a separate sign on sheet for the sprinters and it will be restricted to 24 riders - those who've already told me they want to ride the sprint will be on the sheet already, everyone else, including entries on the day, will be first come first served for the few remaining spots, so get there in plenty of time if you want a place.

It's not like you haven't had ages to get your entry in already :p

  • Is there a copy of the program anywhere?

  • Yeah, here it is. Weather permitting it should be exactly this but bear in mind we may have to juggle things about on the day if we have any delays as we must be finished and off the track by 5pm.

  • Richard, am I down? I’d love to race in the sprint events! That includes the keirin, right?

  • You never entered on the BC site mate! Unfortunately the sprints are now full up, we can't fit anyone else in without running over schedule. You can still enter on the day for the endurance events.

On that note I can confirm that world and paralympic champion Jody Cundy bagged the last sprint spot. The sprints and keirin are going to be awesome this year (sorry Joseph).

  • Doesn't look like I'll be racing, so I'm looking forward to drinking beer and watching some quality on the track :)

  • Would there be cat B for endurance races?

  • Doesn't look like it. Which is why I will be drinking instead of racing :)

  • Not as such. The support endurance events are effectively the B cats, the most of the A cats are riding the madison.

TBH, most of the pre-entries are from sprinters so you shouldn't have a tough time of it in the endurance races. Where's your sense of adventure? Race first, drink later.

  • Anyway, B categories in open events are for sandbaggers only.
