There will now follow 20 pages on what to.put in the bottle :-)
This isn't TTF.
Carbs of some sort.
None of this Nuun bollocks you want actual energy product. Those studies showing improve performance with mouth-rinsing tested sweeteners and your body doesn't react the same way as with actual sugars. -

ENVE or Zipp clincher laced to Powertap G3 for my rear wheel?
Anyone tested the aeroz of both?
I heard rumours of that German magazine doing some testing and ENVE fairing (pun intended) well but dunno which wheel(s). I like the idea of matching wheels but I like the idea of ordering £1000 of carbon from the US less..

In an amazing break from the norm, the aero tests from ENVE (green) show it to be faster than Zipp (yellow)... oh wait...
Aero tests from HED confirm HED faster than Zipp.. oh..

You seem to forget that I'm not in the #buyer club. My choices are dictated by speed, sustainability, durability, cost and then which ones have the best stickers :)
seeing as manufacturer battle smoke / skewed testing data is obscuring the first three you are left with cost and stickers.
Answer: buy cheap, apply ENVE stickers.

Also - you own 2x S-works, have "spare" powertap Zipps, have bought vanity TT brakes and own in excess of 3 power meters.
YOU ARE BUYER :-P -

vanity TT brakes
Have you seen the test data? Wind tunnel results prove that TriRig Omegas slow you down less than almost any other brake.

YOU ARE LEGEND :-PBoth S-Works were purchased at discounted rates. Same goes for all the Zipps except the 808FC which I paid full retail for. The brakes are certainly not vanity items - they work much better than the stock ones which is important given I'm not just doing dragstrip 10s and they give me a slight aero advantage which I'm hardly going to complain about. And being National Champion for another week, that renders your power meter argument null and void.

Except in actual braking, ironically.
They are definitely better than the stock calipers. -

PB this evening with a (very) long 22 on the H10/181. Final time was 22:59 which is considerably more pleasing than last week's 1:00:00.

Thanks for the advice chaps! Will definitely need some sort of hydration along the way and don't think a gel would cut it.
Will take a look at those saddle mounts and practice my "reach around" when I get something. Normally take a caffeine gel 5 mins before the start of a race and will use some SIS carb mix for the ride.

Anyone tried the AeroWeenie "fullfrontalarea" app?
http://www.aeroweenie.com/android/fullfrontalarea/index.html
Looks like a good way to do some basic position/component analysis.
Obviously it cant help with Cd and the impact that changes may have to it but its half of the CdA that it can help with :P

I reckon you'd be better off doing Chung/Aerolab testing than that gimmick. Or build yourself a wind tunnel like whatsischops...

Not doing the National 24h this year Hippy?

I was wondering about that too.

Nope, fuck that. 24s are for idiots. :)

Oh good. I don't have to hear about your gooch sloughing again.
Ditto, plus a gel up each leg of the shorts, one for half way and a spare in case you drop the first one.
