No point appealing, it was a case brought by the police. I expect the driver had a sob story about how driving is his job blah blah blah. Unless the judge cycled or knows a cyclist who has been injured, they just heard about a traffic violation and a girls foot getting run over. I doubt they had any info on the extent of her injures, as far as I know the police never asked for further medical details after the accident.
Do you know what crime the P&J Ellis coach driver was charged with? Was it dangerous driving or careless driving?
