• So, I may of found the frame I have been hunting for for about 4 years... so sadly this one, that I actually love, has to go.
I still need to get some better pics, and will update accordingly.
But for now.. restored 52cm Viner Pista, straight from an Italian Velodrome (via ebay). It was made by Viner for the FCI (Italian Cycle Federation).
The paint is in good condition and I bought decals but have yet to apply them, they are included in the price (they were £30 form ebay).

    Collection only atm, E3.

**ODDITY, I almost forgot, the seatpost does not go all the way down. I have no idea why. I have a 27 in there atm**

    Thanks.

    When bought...

    First build...

    Current BADASS everyday ride build

  • No chance of selling it as a full build? Need a run-around...

  • Hmmm... I could almost... I would want to keep the Gipiemme parts but we could work out some sort of build deal?

    P.S. DON"T TELL THE MISSES.

  • PM a price if you like fella, once you've had a chance to think of one. Why don't tell the missus? make that price good and my lips are sealed ;)

  • Might as well do it in the thread... if anyone else is interested...
    Specs for full bike.
Those wheels (converted road but are perfect)
    Campag post.
    Campag pista pedals.
Cheap bars and stem (prob not that 3TTT track one)
BB and H set - nice new but low end ones.
    Campag victory cranks

    Prob about £400?

  • FIxed or freewheel?

  • Fixed... but obvs you could use a freewheel.
I Rotafixed it and glued a BB lockring... ridden it for 6 months, no probs...

  • How tall are you Chris?

I thought you were taller Buckaroo?

I have a (lady) friend that this would be perfect for...

    (2nd dibs?)

  • Yeah, I built this small for commuting short distances... I'm 5'10.
I have had bikes between 52 and 57 and found them all fine although stand over on the 57 was slim to none...

  • Chris is taller than me from (memory)?

Fixed is perfect. I can pick it up next week...

  • Ah yeah snap I'm 5,10. I want it for buzzing from the train to the office.

  • I take it , it comes with both forks?

  • Great looking bike...what bars are they?

  • oh god. my size. why now, not next month?

  • I can't function today. Will get back to folks over the weekend.

  • You are not 5'10"

  • Yes I am Ben. Get back to buying decals for your banani.

  • Wait, which one was the one frame again? The Guerc?

  • what bars are those?

  • what bars are those?

    cheap )

  • Rigggghht... bumping this, as offering full bike.

Cleaning it up atm. Pretty much full Gipiemme Pista now, HS, BB and Hubs.
Cranks and pedals are Gipiemme Special Strada but look the part.
Post is Gipiemme, not sure if they did Pista/Strada posts.
Rims Campagnolo Omega V front and near identical Wolber on the rear, with a set of Omega V stickers ready to go on
    Chainring Record Pista.
3TTT Pista stem and the Crit style Pista/Road drops, also happy to include swept back bars.

Pic of wheels: Brake rub isn't as bad as it looks here... near none on the rear and completely none on the front as I repainted the rim and haven't used it since...

New Pics this week, but would like £650 for it, which is plenty less than I paid for it.

Also have a full set of Viner Decals to go on it.

Save it from being a pub bike, my winter wheels just got stolen and I would loathe the nice ones to go the same way...
