We are used to seeing Ghana play very attractive, very committed football..
But for long spells, really under performed.

Sulley Muntari... He's not even a poor excuse for a footballer. He'd make the Iranians look good.

What were Ghana up to? Their tactics were atrocious... Or was it just a bad night? USA did a great job of snuffing them out of the game...

Muntari was awful - I can't think of a worse individual performance. Every single dead ball, and every single touch was pure gash. They should have hauled him off at half time and got Essien on sooner.

There was an interview in The Times magazine with him recently. Ended up one of those pieces where the writer makes more of how awkward and dismal an experience it was for her, as he was a dull plank throughout.
