Hi all.
I was involved in an accident on New Cross Road, just by New Cross House last Wednesday at around 9:30. Was cycling in the bus lane and a driver from the lane to my right hard turned in front of me. I was right in front of the turning so i swerved left to avoid being hit by the car and in doing so collided with the curb and went head over heels. The driver paused on the turn and then drove off.
Result: a severely broken wrist, a hole in my shin right through to the bone, and a number of cuts and grazes.
A witness ran after the car and brought me a registration which he is pretty sure is the correct one. Reported to the police and statement given, now looking into legal advice. If anyone has anything that could be helpful I would appreciate it greatly.
