Is there a what movie is this thread? Or does it just go here?

Scenes stuck in my head but I cant piece what film it is.
Its a gritty American movie, theres snow, a card game in a tavern/hut, a fight, a car crash, 2 guys IIRC. Not 4 brothers but very similarly shot? Or have I just dreamt this shit?

Planes, trains, automobiles.
