Went with Hiscox.
Amazing customer service on phone and otherwise; personal handwritten thank you note with very well (and simply written) policy documents too. More human less machine.
My insurance premium went half (compared to M&S); we dont own any valuables apart from bikes which are not defined as valuables. Bikes under £3k (i think) are covered without a mention; between £3k and £5k you have to mention them (make etc.) above £5k they charge one time fee/premium of £100 (dont have to pay at next renewal if stayed with Hiscox obvsly). They are covered outside house if kept locked. As well as 90 day global (outside UK) cover.
Would recommend.
